Tanmoy Kundu

I am an Assistant Professor at the department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIIT-Delhi since July 2024. I am also a member of Infosys Center for Artificial Intelligence at the same institute.

Prior to joining IIIT-Delhi, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher (Nov 2022 - July 2024) in Technion - Israel Institute of Technology where I worked with Prof. Vadim Indelman. I completed my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, under the supervision of Prof. Indranil Saha.

My research areas are robot path and task planning, robot planning under uncertainty, multi-robot coordination. Broadly, my research lies at the intersection of robot planning and different algorithmic techniques.

I obtained the M.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, and B.Tech from West Bengal University of Technology. I have industry experience of software development for three years, including one year in SAP Labs India and two  years in Cognizant.
